Hector pointed his pointer At the nearest peach tree Crying, "I beseech thee!!" "I anoint thee!!" And her blossoms fell like litter And his pointer rose to heaven And their cries of joy annoyed the sky And woke the neighbor's babysitter From a dream about a fountain Gushing up from out the ground And cascading down to cover her From toes to crown In golden glitter She looked around and found She'd wet the bed Thought to get up, but then instead She laid back down within the warming spot Felt no guilt, but melted into it Right to the hilt And, smiling, simply waited For some friend or foe Or fated stranger To come to her and change her
